Masterton Motor Lodge

Lots of space for 2 friends travelling. French door access to a shared garden. Clean. Refurbished wet room/bathroom.. Nice bedding. Able to circulate air upstairs by opening the windows. Is on a main road, so some traffic noise.

A nice quiet stay with a great host.

The rooms were very big and spacious and even though we were late arriving the owner still waited for us with a lovely welcome. It was very clean and serviced every day. It is certainly past its best but would have been a real treasure back in the day but the owner is doing his best to keep it maintained with the pool being refurbished and recently opened. Good value for money.

The gentleman who met us was so friendly and helpful. Fab value for money. Had everything we needed.

It was very hot upstairs, and the a/c wasn't working up there.

A few things like air freshener in the toilet for example, were thoughtful extras. The owner was very friendly and apologetic after we left early. Everything was very clean

We were one of only 2 rooms occupied at the time, unfortunately the other room was a loud family who sat outside our window continually so we had no peace or privacy. The light outside our room was on all night and kept us awake and we didn’t find the bed comfortable. We were booked and paid for 2 nights but only stayed for one before heading home for a decent sleep.
