Location was good

Very very basic facilities, but quite expensive.

The unit was a bit tired. Beds were a little uncomfortable.

not much. Office hours end at 4pm and many travelers don't reach destination until after that time. Coffee, tea, sugar provisions were out of date. We saw no staff whatsoever. Would not recommend facility to anyone.

The location

Upon arrival it was raining. Not knowing where to park we decided to utilise an undercover park while we checked in and unloaded our vehicle, and allow my 82 year old Mother in law access to our hired unit. This took about 5 minutes and the space was not required at that point. Upon returning to shift the vehicle to our assigned space around the corner, I was abused by what I can only say was a stupid unit owner who told me to move as he paid for that spot!! Upon entering the unit we found that the cleanliness was not up to standard. There was fluff on the floor. Dirt on the tile ledges along with what could only be described as "gunk" on the bathroom wall as well as hair from a previous tenant. The toilet and bathroom also had a smell that was not desirable. I questioned the manager who blamed the fact they had to leave the windows open to air the room letting dust in! The bathroom had no exhaust fan and this meant it became like a steam bath when we had a shower, leaving the mirror fogged up and unusable without wiping down. The top of the fridge, air con and range hood were filthy. If we had a choice we would not have stayed here and would have looked for an alternative, hence we will not be looking at this property again!!!

The location was great as I was attending an event in Noosaville and it was within 7 mins by car. You can also walk up the road to Howard St and head to the river from there. About a 5/10 min walk which I loved. It was a large unit (2 bdrms) with a nice garden area at the rear. I was in Unit 4. There were plenty of cooking utensils which was good as I was cooking for myself. Heaps of crockery! The bed was great and I slept well. The unit was also styled nicely and on first appearance seemed better than it was. It has lots of potential. It had a lovely cool breeze throughway and with the fans I didn't need to use the air-conditioning.

I was in Unit 4 and the floor was dirty throughout - you know that dusty, grimy feel underfoot (barefoot). I felt much better once I swept the whole unit except for bedroom 2 which I wasn't using. There was quite a bit of hair on the bathroom floor and a large cockroach belly up on top of the shower drain. There was rubbish in the bathroom bin and a pikster on the bench next to basin near the toilet. The front security door was out of alignment and very difficult to shut. I mentioned it to the Manager when departing and she said it probably needs oiling. A neighbour showed me how to jiggle and lift it to shut it properly. I was sorry I didn't tell them earlier about everything, because she said I was wrong about the floor, it was vacuumed and washed. I said I did not agree because I put several loads of fluff off the end of the broom into the bin. The 2 top dinner plates I chose from the drawer were dirty and I duly washed and used only them. Same for cutlery, bowls and saucepans. Maybe washing in the dishwasher is not very good over a long period. I didn't use the dishwasher. Also there is no space to store anything in the kitchen that you might bring with you. All the drawers and cupboards are fully occupied. I'm not the greatest with smart TVs so wasn't really able to watch anything except Channel 2 which was only once.

The property is great, and unlike a lot of beachy places, it did not smell at all musty. We cooked, and the availability of the things I needed in the kitchen were much better than I usually encounter. Nonstick pans that weren’t worn out, proper knife, great stove, easy to use dishwasher and even a Smeg kettle. And a nice French press for my coffee. The beds were comfortable and firm as were the lounges and the big screen TV works great. The best part of it, though was the couple that were running it. They were very friendly and accommodating, which was important as we were traveling with an elderly person. I feel it was a lucky find and we will definitely come back when we are in the area.

I liked everything about it. Couldn’t have asked for more.
