Stayed here 4 times Art Deco hotel Clean and safe in beautiful Montagu

We loved the hotel, the staff were all very helpful. We had a very nice meal in restaurant. They had a carol service in the evening all adding to the great ambience. Montague itself was a nice clean town.

As before, a lovely reception (no Muscadel though). Rooms as comfy as before and all staff were on hand to make out stay nice. Thanks to reception for putting the rugby on the tv so we could see the Boks win! We will be back.

Stayed two nights. Some classic Art Deco furniture some just old. Friendly staff, pretty grounds. Good Resteraunt , friendly staff. Sleepy town. At 2 pm on Saturday I was the only one on the street. Room felt dated but comfy and clean. Good parking.

The Montagu Country Hotel was a pleasant experience and a venue we will gladly visit again. Its location in town is central and close to good restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

A superb art deco hotel

We loved it. The hotel has a pre-WW2 ambiance and the service to go with it. The staff were super freindly especially Sammy on receptioon and Sammy the porter.It was a perfect stay.Kosie's playing was lovely and the whole stay was magical.

Beautiful gardens and lovely Art Deco decorations.

The hotel has an Art Deco feel to it, but it's a bit tired.

Wonderful quite night before starting into the wine country.
