Host/owner was very rude. His "jokes" were not welcome, can't tell if he is joking or serious. Check-in process was disappointing.

Etablissement très bien situé dans la basse ville. Parking payant à proximité immédiate et bon marché. Le gérant de l'hôtel nous a donné des renseignements utiles pour visiter la ville.

Le patron a un humour bien particulier, mais pas déplaisant pour autant.

Loved the location, quietness and value for money. Breakfast was delicious and host was lovely and funny.

The breakfast was ok but all cold foods. The host tried to be funny but was intimidating. As we don’t speak French check in was confusing.

Less mess all around. The breakfast room was dirty and while we couldn’t see the kitchen I can only imagine what it looked like. We left early the second day at 7:30 and no one was present so we left without even a cup of coffee.

Great location to train, very short walk into town and many restaurants, tourist attractions and shopping. We were provided an excellent breakfast by a very enjoyable host with a great sense of humour.

Stairs and stairway may be a problem for some.

This hotel had the best breakfast we've had at a hotel. Although the hotelier was the only staff we saw, he was an excellent breakfast chef. He proudly boasted about his homemade jams provided for the croissants. The crepes were lovely. I like that Canadian sourced apple juice was served, rather than Florida orange juice.

Although we were told there'd be stairs, we'd didn't expect each of the 2 sets of stairs would be longer & steeper than most; 15 steps with a very short landing between the 2nd & 3rd floors. The only shower was a rain head suspended above a extra large 2 person spa tub, set in the middle of the room. No privacy. Also, the parking, while available, was at public lots located around the city. While the distance from the hotel was okay. We had to change lots each night. No where in QC are you allowed to park for longer than 24 hours. This information wasn't provided prior to checking into the hotel. During the two days were stayed at this hotel, we only saw one person staffing this hotel. While he was pleasant, it was unnerving. Also this hotelier used sarcastic humor during all interactions with him; I didn't always understand or appreciate it.

The location was what sold the place, as well as proximity to an outdoor pay parking lot a block behind.( we had a 12 seater van). You can walk a couple of blocks up to the heart of upper old town. Easy drive to get to the ferry to Levi from this location. We found the room a good size. Clean and plenty of towels. Four of us had the suite with the two bedrooms and kitchen. We didn’t cook meals but the fridge was a nice size.

The host was quite a character. Might not suit a lot of people but we were there only three nights. Breakfast the same all three mornings. Croissants, fruit cup, a crepe, homemade jam and maple syrup, apple juice, coffee or tea (no refills offered!) and yogurt. Great first morning, ok second morning, third morning we needed a change up. No elevator; long narrow stairs a challenge hauling luggage up and down. Not good for those that have difficulty climbing long flights of stairs, straight up.
