Hilton Garden Inn Edmonton International Airport

This place is very run down and in need of a makeover. No hot water. Air conditioning was so noisy that it woke us up all night. Ice machine was broken. Coffee downstairs was horrible and cold. No towels in the pool. Phone in pool broken. Hallway and elevator was filthy. One elevator was broken, the other sounded like it was about to break any minute. Worst Hilton I have ever stayed at, will never stay there again.

Easy to get to and check in.

The bathroom had mold under the soap shelf in tub and along the tub surround. There was fecal matter under the toilet seat. When we told the patron on check out we said we would be back in 10 days but didnt think we would stay there again. We were told with attitude that not all rooms are like that. I have photos!

Hot tub was dirty with sand and bottom! Never had any towels in pool room. fire alarm went off at 4:30 in the morning for a half an hour. breakfast sucks $18 and couldn’t change anything asked for one scoop of scrambled eggs and one sunny side up because it said you were allowed to have two eggs they wouldn’t change it.

According to the hotel, Check in is at 3:00. However our room wasn’t ready until 5:00. The bed was hard, the Air conditioning unit barely worked. And when it did periodically run, it was so loud. At 5:00 am the fire alarm went off (there was no fire). All the hotel guests in their pajamas standing in the lobby while staff tried to turn the alarms off. No apologies, no explanation. We thought that because it was a Hilton hotel that it would have better standards, and run more efficiently. Big dissapointment.

Location is good

We had to wait nearly 2 hours to check in because the room wasn’t ready The air conditioner didn’t work properly One elevator was out of order The front desk staff was apologetic but didn’t offer an alternative room or anything for the inconvenience The fire alarm malfunctioned at around 5:30am and much of the hotel guests had to evacuate for a few minutes I would not recommend staying at this hotel until the chain has an opportunity to review this property and straighten out the shortcomings of the management in charge

Wasn’t as advertised. No breakfast, late check in time, only 1 person in the front desk, the room smelled like old, front property is all not lawned as there were tons of weeds, breakfast had limited options with no kid friendly options, and very dirty feel on the doors and property.

Chain is at 3:00 I arrived at 3:45 and my room was not ready and no alternative rooms were available This a well known hotel brand and I expect better than this Someone should be aware that this hotel can’t manage the basics and get this place in shape
