Hampton Inn & Suites Center

It was a good stay

It had been about a year since I chose to stay at Hampton Inn in Center Texas. I can tell the hotel has done some updates to window drapes (which really needed it from my last stay) as well as repainting that was poorly done as the paint is peeling in both the bathroom and bedroom. Not enough towels are available with the new updated towel shelf on the wall. Breakfast selection was not as I remembered the many years I had stayed visiting family before. I have not ruled out staying here again…as these are things that can be corrected and will probably affect guest visiting for the first time positively.

The air conditioning had to be replaced, and the elevator and hallway smelled like poop, and for several hours, the elevators did not work.

The front desk night clerk and morning clerk ladies were very nice. Great bed. Shower was good. Breakfast was great loved the choices.

Several things were out of order. Elevator, business center, fitness equipment. Had to pay for an offsite gym membership for the week while traveling. Hotel seems to have gone downhill.

Internet so weak that goes off most of the time and bathtub drain not working

Just about like all Hampton Inn’s, clean, comfortable beds, overall good hotel when traveling
