Super 8 by Wyndham Monteagle TN

Do not stay here. Terrible, rundown facility. Rooms are dirty. You won’t want to touch anything. We didn’t even want to change the toilet paper roll. Someone’s old soap left in the shower, dirty chairs. The stairs outside are super depressing and broken looking. So glad to get out of this place and move on. Wyndham should not be putting their name on this place.

September 25th, 2024 I and my two kids stayed one night at this hotel; we had been driving for over 14 hours. After we checked in, my two kids were already asleep, and I lie down, and fell asleep right away, around 9 to 10 PM at night, we did not use the bathroom, as we had already stopped to eat and used the bathroom at a nearby restaurant. The next morning, when we woke up, we noticed that the bathroom looked like a drug den. The toilet had black tar heroin all over it, the bathroom shower curtain, and shower walls, had blood, grease, and dirt all over it. It was not something we can use, the bathroom was truly disgusting. We noticed that the carpet had several green and black beetles crawling around on it, and the bed had either bed bugs or lice, as I, and my two kids woke up early, and were scratching our bodies, we looked like we had been bitten by little bugs all over. I loaded myself and my two kids and into our vehicle and went to the check out, the front desk, the next morning around 7:30 AM. I told the front desk attendant Mrs. Patel, about the situation, and she said that she would give us a 50% discount. Sincerely, Jeremy Mitchell

If corporate would set a standard of profit to be consistently be spent on upgrades maybe it wouldn't be such a letdown at all the locations we stayed at along the road

We have stayed here 3 years in a row while attending a music festival nearby. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always willing to help. We are already looking to make reservations for June of 2025. Thanks again for all the hospitality!

Will not return to this motel mattress was old and lumpy linen was dirty and had to wait until after 11pm to get new pillowcases never received towels and trash cans were nasty and no bag replacement. Stairs were broken and unsafe

Don't be offput by the lobby or the parking lot. The rooms are immaculate and the staff is very nice. The parking lot is full of huge and deep pot holes. It damaged my CV joint on my truck. The lobby is covered with old and dirty planters. But the rooms are immaculate and very quiet. The rate was very reasonable. I would stay there again.

I wish I could’ve liked this hotel better, but both of the fitted sheets in our room were gross, and after 30 min waiting, both of us just pulled the sheets up and slept with only a light covering, as we had been driving 14 hours that day. The TV remote was missing and staff had no fix for this, the center area was messy and loud, and the AC unit didn’t work well.

The room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. Check in was fairly quick. No one was at the desk when we checked out so we did not get a receipt. The TV had a lousy picture and none of the stations matched up with the paper channel guide provided. The air conditioner was hard to regulate. The breakfast was poor. The juice dispenser did not work. There were very few choices, especially healthy choices. Cereals were Fruit Loop and Frosted Flakes. No waffles or yogurt. There were hard boiled eggs, toast, and small, processed banana muffins. This is a moderately priced motel so we got what we paid for. It is fine for one night, especially if you are not a breakfast eater.

People were nice, but …Was dirty and gross feeling. Pealing paint on tile in shower, hair on bathroom floor, carpet gross, saw a cockroach on window sill inside our room in the morning!! Ewwww… Somehow I thought Wyndham meant clean and better quality…BIG mistake!
