Asteras Villas

Dimitris at reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel, however, has gotten a little shabby—needs renovating. The real problem is that there are over 100 steps to get down to the hotel, and, of course, the same number to get back up to the street. I would not have reserved the property had I known that. I have lung issues, so it was very difficult for me.

The highlight of our Santorini trip. We stayed the La Luna, and the room was way larger than we expected. The hot tub was perfect, and the view was worth every penny. The breakfast service was phenomenal. We will return!

Asteras is a wonderful property! The room was great, the service was awesome, and you can’t beat the location. You’re steps away from bars, restaurants, shopping, even the public bus is only like a 2 min walk. Highly recommend! Just a couple notes. One, you have to walk down a couple flights of small steep stairs to get to the rooms. This is not a negative, just be prepared for a leg workout whenever you go in/out. Second, the provided toiletries are not great. I’m talking 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner… for the price, I thought the toiletries would be nicer but there are stores super close that you can get nicer stuff from if you didn’t bring your own. Overall I would stay again!!

The property was very clean and had amazing views overlooking the caldera. Shopping and restaurants were within steps. Dimitris and his colleagues were amazing and very helpful at setting up car services and recommendations for restaurants.

A fantastic stay! Dimitris and the team were always welcoming and friendly. Always on hand to help, give recommendations on the island and available to make any reservations if you require. With breakfast you can choose anything you like from the menu, as well as your preferred time, and it will be there on the balcony waiting for you with the most amazing view of the caldera. We stayed in the Phoebe suite which was perfect for us. It’s the lowest suite but the stairs weren’t an issue for us, we also found it to be lovely and quiet here. We opted for the transfers which was great as we didn’t have the rush of taxis, and was taken to the port in plenty of time for our ferry. Overall an incredible stay and start to our honeymoon. We cannot wait to return!

We just loved our stay at Astera Villas and Santorini. From the welcome we received and the recommendations on what to do and see to our departure, superb!! Breakfast every morning on the our private deck was perfect. Our suite was clean and was very comfortable. One minor negative thing the bar next door does play loud music, so if they aren't playing your genre it may force you to go inside your suite. (Once inside we only heard it a little). We stayed in the Luna Suite which is the closest to the top level.

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Both Dimitri’s were super helpful. The cleaning lady/cook was very kind and motherly towards me (I am 7 months pregnant)

What an utter gem of a place! Beautiful hotel with stunning views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The hot tub was small but perfect for 2! Private sun loungers with a view. Breakfast was delivered to the balcony and was beautifully presented. Check in and check out was very straightforward. Demetris ran up and down the steps with our bags ( must have legs of steel) the bed was exceptionally comfortable and a well stocked mini bar which was very reasonably priced. If you want that special moment to be exceptional then book this hotel! I would definitely recommend this hotel the view is to die for!!
