Friendly helpful staff, great meals and lovely atmosphere.

The staff were amazing. Perfect location for our stay in Wedmore. The breakfast was amazing and such good value. The room was great and had everything we needed.

This a lovely old inn in pretty Somerset village. Room was comfortable and spacious. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

Being grade 1 listed, this comes with challenges. Very warm room which was near the kitchen and which gave off stale cooking smell, probably from the noisy extractor fan. The fan did stop at around 9.20pm. Other rooms may not have been subject to the smell or noise. We felt it could be a lot cleaner.

Staff were pleasant and friendly. Food was acceptable quality.

Drab en-suite, coffee and tea etc located in corridor. Overall decor of property is drab and uninviting. No residents lounge area.. Noisy kitchen fan and minute tv in room.

The hotel was booked for a couple of nights stay, it was a lovely quiet location with the garden beside a brook running through the village. The room was at the back of the hotel was very quiet aswell, the only concern was the shower cubicle was a bit small, but to be fair couldn't be any larger in the room. The food was very good and reasonably priced, the breakfast was also very good-quite large. On our experience we would definitely recommend, the superb weather helped considerably, ample parking also.
