The George Inn

Great location for Cheddar Gorge and Wookey hole caves. Wedmore is a lovely village and the pub is good with lovely staff.

We didn’t have breakfast

The bed was awfully uncomfortable we hardly slept all night. No tea & coffee in the room only one window that opened and no air-con. I thought for £120 per night it was a bit steep

Convenient location in the heart of the village. Friendly and efficient staff. On-site parking (although the entrance could be better signposted). Food - both dinner and breakfast the following morning - was great.

The bedroom was a little tired and could do with a refresh.

Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and very good food and service.

More coat hangers

Tastefully decorated, spacious bedroom, good tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water supply, centrally located and friendly, helpful staff

Only one very small opening window leaving the room hot and stuffy

Breakfast very good. Some fresh fruit with the cornflakes might work.

Having an easy chair in the bedroom is important. We didn't have one, which was a real nuisance. And it wouldn't take much to provide this.
