Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbus - Polaris, an IHG Hotel

The facility itself was nice. The staff was great and things were clean.

The noise of vehicles racing, literally, up and down the street until 3am.

Super clean, family friendly free breakfast was a plus

Location was good. Building was quiet.

It took the front desk personnel a while to arrive at the desk and check us in, which might have cost us an opportunity to eat at our first choice restaurant.

Clean rooms, nice pool area for kids.

Our room neighbors kids were up all night jumping and yelling. Around midnight I went down to front desk to let them know. The front desk lady followed me back to our floor and proceeded to ask them to keep the noise down, as we had 2 littles of our own who couldn't sleep with the ruckus. That lasted all of 15 min. They finally settled down around 2 am. I did let the front desk know when we checked out what time they settled down and she apologized. I know kids can be hard to handle sometimes and I feel bad for having to go down in the first place, but it had me question if there was even an adult in the room with them? After 6 hours of clearly hearing kids yell and sounds of jumping and playing around not once did we hear adult voices... Overall although the hotel was clean and the staff was nice, having a long day than a really long night made me think it wasn't worth the cost.

We traveled with a 5 yr. Old so we look at things like the pool & breakfast. Both exceeded our expectations!
