Borgo Di Colleoli Resort

Super dejligt og smukt sted. Der lugtede dog af fugt i skabene, og aircondition kunne ikke slukkes så den korte non stop. Derudover manglede der et brusehoved i brusekabinen, og der var gebyrer på håndklæder til poolen.

The location was good for seeing towns and villages in Tuscany. The resort was charming in historical ambience. The pools were good, although there was no signage at the back pool to say how deep the deep end was. Our room was quite large and the bed comfortable. The grounds were large and well maintained.

Better signage about pool depth at the pool. Staff werent rushing to put signs up, even when i told them 3 people nearly drowned because they couldn't swim and had no idea how deep that part of the pool was. Kitchenette facilities weren't great. Had to ask for a cleaning cloth and tea towel to do the dishes. No starter pack of tea, coffee etc- would have been helpful. Restaurant overpriced. Lots of things could be improved on eg putting in a playground for children. The walk to the carpark was very long. No phones in rooms- relying on what's app for communication.

Very peaceful setting in the middle of Tuscany. Two wonderful pools, the restaurant was great and the prices were very reasonable.

Our room number 67 which was on the first floor of one of the buildings towards the rear of the property has windows which were covered by bricks with only partial views out. I assume this is because it was a barn conversion and the needed to keep the exterior architecture intact. This made it quite dark in the room.

Quiet, beautiful location

Car parking not secure. A car parked there was broken into. Why can't the long entrance be used for parking? On the 3rd night a busload of 50 students with 6 teachers arrived for one night. Students were running around up and down stairs, making noise, slamming doors and appeared unsupervised. Our friend who was staying in the same building (room 67) could not get to sleep and had to ring reception to get someone to intervene. Then, the students were up at 4:30am and left at 5:00am, again waking her up. This resort is not in a busy, noisy city location and is not suitable for such a group and should never have been booked in the first place. By it's very location, it is a place for people to come and relax and to travel to other places for activities. If there are rooms available, these should be made available to Karma or Wyndham people.
