The Old Rectory Inn

Very disappointing. The room was dirty; bedding was shabby and ripped; the shower was held together with gaffer tape; dust on a bathroom picture was thick. I washed the headboard myself and the cloth was brown with dirt. The window needed propping open with a block of wood. All of these things could and should have been easily fixed. At breakfast, I had to ask for clean juice glasses because the ones on the table didn't look like they'd been washed. The people running it didn't seem at all bothered. We weren't asked if we'd enjoyed our stay...I said goodbye and left the key and the woman didn't even look up. I'm not sure why they wore masks all of the time when everything was so dirty and unhygienic. The place has so much potential but so little care was given. I would unfortunately not recommend and would not want to stay there again.

Room clean and comfortable bed. Beautiful breakfast. We decided to have our dinner at the inn and enjoyed our meal. Licensed so enjoyed a drink outside in the sunshine. Great value for money.

A very very nice place to stay. Helpful, friendly staff and a lovely room. Local countryside is beautiful and the town has lots of amenities. Excellent,!

All you need and more.

Made to feel very welcome. Room comfortable and heater supplied for chilly evenings. Wonderful breakfast set us up for day, due to so many places in Callander closed also had dinner there. Very nice selection of homemade food to choose from,
