A pot of tea when we arrived was very welcome. The availability of a spacious lounge adjoining the bedroom was unexpected. There was good flexibility over breakfast times. Breakfast itself was excellent. The village of Tideswell has a genuine community with shops, cafes and good pubs. it also makes a fine base for exploring the Peak District.
Genuine friendly welcome on arrival. High standard of decor and furnishings in bedroom. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

Lovely house, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, welcoming host, comfortable room, freshly cooked breakfast. Perfect location for enjoying the attractions of the Peak District.
The property is in the centre of town but in a quiet area. Our room was large with two windows. good sized bathroom. Breakfast was pre ordered per day with time and content our choice. we chose trad English which was more than adequate. The town is compact with lots of 'nooks and crannies' to explore. Further afield there is plenty to see.
