"nice hotel"

8.0

this is our 2nd time to book this hotel..the first was just an-OK experience but the 2nd time...the hotel is much improved...the facilities and the services. the pool was clean and the atttendant gave us a towel for us to use while in the pool area. the breakfast buffet is good except that when we order an ala carte menu for my kid (pancake) - it took a long time, we have eaten almost eaten our breakfast when the food came out. to think that we're the first to order for an ala carte.

"Wish I Knew Better"

2.0

This was our worst experience to date staying in a hotel. When we arrived to our room there were stains on the walls, floors, tub,no hand towels, and a sewer type smell coming from the bathroom. The AC did not cool down the room after being there for two hours. There were bugs flying around the room and the lobby where we had dinner. The internet service was so difficult and took us hours to get on the first time. Then they told us that the internet code was only good for one device and that we had to pay more for other devices. I do not recommend this place. The beds are also very uncomfortable.

"Safe accommodation at Clark"

8.0

The good part of the hotel is that It has a public Casino. Although I did not gamble, I took advantage of the bar. The beers are cheap, like 55 pesos and the food are also relatively cheap, value for money. The staffs and the waitress in the casino are friendly as well. The only setback is the transportation. There is no cab there and you rely on the jeepney which passes by every 30 to 45 min. You can hire the hotel's limo but you pay like 300 to 400 pesos where else the jeepney cost only 13 peso to the main gate(the clubs) or to the mall. The hotel has quite an intensified gym equipment and a nice fun type of swimming pool. Overall, the hotel and its surroundings are a safe place as its located in the Air Force City and there are guards stationed every 5 km

"Avoid this one"

4.0

We could not sleep here. The hotel is noisy at night with many doors slamming and construction noises and people talking at 1 am. I had to ask 3 times for a better room because we were stuck in noisy rooms with views of walls and dumpsters. Many hotels in angeles city are better than this one.

"Terrible place to stay"

The beds were hard as boards! We moved rooms and the same thing, there is a club/bar/cassino close so the noise was unbearable. Aweful stay!

"Room Service - Food Quality."

6.0

Had a problem with room service (i.e. Food), it was terrible for this class of hotel. Although the staff did resolve it swiftly and saftisfactorly. But just did not trust the food from the hotel after this situation.

"Horror of a Hotel"

4.0

I guess Holloween is around the corner when I stayed in this hotel and that is why they made you feel the horror. Well judging from other reviews made by other people who stayed there, it seems their bad service can be experienced all year round, not just Holloween. Their staff are not so friendly, they look at you suspiciously at the front desk. Operator is a bit snooty considering the hotel is not full when I was there. We wanted to check out the S-Bar so we could have a drink to avoid getting out to drive since the place is too far away from the city proper. Lo and behold it's closed. The snooty operator suggested the casino bar. Problem is you need to play to be able to order drinks since there aren't any bar stools around the bar to sit on and have a drink. So we opted out to buy our booze and drank them in our room. During our drinking session in our room around 10 to 11 PM I rang up the operator to ask if breakfast the next morning is buffet. The operator asked, a female, if I belong to a group staying in the hotel for their company planning. She mentioned several company names but told her I booked our stay there online. She took several minutes to inquire from other colleagues if it is buffet. She got back to me and she declared yes indeed it is buffet. I even joked that we won't be eating much that night so we can take advantage of the breakfast buffet. I woke up 7+ am and I woke my companion also to go have the buffet breakfast as promised by the operator the night before. Lo and behold the snooty waiter wo took our orders declared its not buffet. He gave us a menu to choose which breakfast type we want. We chose the Filipino breakfast with 2 eggs. When our order came out, there is only one egg on the plate. The snooty waiter informed me they only serve one egg for complimentary breakfast. I went to the front desk to complain about the previous night's inquiry. She was very dismissive and telling me that all staff are aware that buffet breakfast is only served for those who stay on a weekend. Well I guess one should be a mind reader in this hotel to be aware of their limitations. I wanted to call the GM's attention about this but I opted not too since I guess it's probably futille. One of the comments here suggested that the hotel staff are only chummy with foreigners. I am Pinoy so I guess the theory is correct. Also from the comments which I just read now, probably 90% of all the comments are bad. I should have read them way before I checked-in. Me and my family go to Fontana from time to time and I chose this hotel since I wanted to try the other hotels in the area. Fontana is 500 peso more expensive. I should have gone to Fontana instead. My advice is should you wish to stay in this hotel, have a ready drafted contract for every service you wish to avail and have a staff there sign it so you are protected. But overall, it's really a risk staying in this hotel. So to all, the best of luck when staying at Hotel Tots. Well that's what I want to call it now.
