Palace Inn

I am used to slightly fancier digs though what the Palace Inn lacked in opulence was more than compensated by the quiet location, the comfortable accommodations and especially the amazing staff! I would probably rename the place "The Joel Inn" as the office guy Joel went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was superb.

Perfect night sleep. Clean room and large bathroom

The hotel is old in a area with nothing around. No one was there when I checked out. No air conditioner was in Our room. Checked in at 10 pm left at 9 am good for that but not for a long term sty

Wish I could have found another hotel and got my money back, the room smelled, the bed and pillows were hard and the front desk called on my check out day at 10 a. M. And said to have 1 hour to get out! Never again!

Poor quality with no amenities. Nonsmoking room reeked of stale cigarettes

Hotel room very outdated....shower head was old and I needed to do a backbend to get hair wet. Room smelled a little musty when we checked in. We had to make a hasty departure though, due to sewage smell in the room. Seemed to get worse after we used the shower. Quiet area, we got good sleep. I can see why it was rated only 2.6 out of 5...you usually get what you pay for, but in this case $78.00 for the smell of sewage is waaaay too much for my taste.

We only use a hotel to sleep, relax, and refresh - we don't need a newspaper, fitness room, or business center, so it's awesome when we get it all in a clean and mostly comfortable place. When we stay here again, I'll be sure to bring my own pillow. Hubby loved the super-firm ones provided, but I'm a fluffy girl. And if you stay in a non-smoking room, remember that these are not on the central vent system (keeps the smoke out, very nicely), so turn off the heater before running your hair dryer.
