Stanwell House

Very friendly staff, excellent food, convenient location

The bathroom toilet continually dripped, the bath and shower door had mildew and the bathroom itself smelt of mould. We had to keep the bathroom window open and the door shut, so the door rattled in the wind both nights. I also don’t know who painted the bathroom, but it was poorly done. The cold tap at the sink was very noisy. Noise pollution being situated above a room with a balcony and kitchen to the side. On a more positive note, the bedroom itself was decorated to a high standard and the view was lovely. #Room 39

The room and breakfast were fantastic along with the service. With the recent hot weather the staff went out of their way to provide fans and portable ac units.

Very comfortable beds and blackout curtains so slept really well. Staff were all friendly and very helpful

Lovely room with good shower and comfortable bed. Garden and bar areas are great for a relaxing stay and hotel is situated in a perfect location. Unfortunately we had to check out early due to an emergency at home so didnt get to sample the breakfast which sounded good.

For the standard of hotel I'd expect larger, softer towels. Pillows won't be to everyone's liking as they are very dense and hard
