The service, the quality of the food and the price

Appreciated complimentary bottled water in the room and a good selection of tea. Flannels provided and nice toiletries.

The room was small; not much room to move around the bed. I found it very difficult to open the cupboard door (hanging space inside) but fortunately my husband was able to open it with a bit more force. The blind in the bedroom was broken. Difficult to reduce the temperature of the shower water. We knew that the hotel had a 'boutique/rustic' appeal but the room really needs some refurbishment. Couldn't park at the hotel - very small car park. Bar closed at 9pm.

I was travelling with my dog and the ground floor room with a glass door out onto an enclosed garden was just great. The main rooms in the hotel, the bar, the lounge and the dining room very all very tastefully decorated.

The car park is small and I found I couldn't park my car.

Really comfy bed and cosy room. Nice tea/coffee options.

Too soft pillows, no firm options. The bathroom light is ceiling central and bright white, like an operating theatre! Could do with more subtle/softer lighting in the bathroom. The bath takes ages to empty when you’re having a shower so you’re wading in ankle deep water. You can hear people/tv in adjoining rooms so take earplugs.

Poor pillows, well past their best. Finishing of room wasn't great. Attention to detail not apparent, and awful door knobs and locks to room. Ridiculous key fobs connected to room keys.
