The hotel looks like maybe 20 years ago it was a beautiful luxury Four Seasons, but clearly not anymore. The facilities are old and worn out, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The staff is a bit rude too. However, it's cheap and it's next to the airport, so it's a good place to crash overnight before or after a flight.

Upon booking the hotel i thought that we were booking with the 'FOUR SEASON HOTEL' however it was clear from when we arrived via taxi - this was not the case. When we booked it had said there was very few rooms left to be booked - when we arrived it was quiet and dead. no cars like you would expect or any other occupants. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and went through the booking procedure (all of 2 mins) - he gave us our room keys and we just OK great, 3 hr flight after leaving at 6am in the morning - we can rest. This was not the case. we had a quick look around the room and were extremely disappointed. Looked at the facilities - bed, TV & bathroom... extremely basic for (3*) hotel. Bathroom had mold and an aluminum shed sheet for a ceiling for shower. Led on the bed and we both could hear everything what was happening down the hall - cleaning. Both inside doors and Outside door were warped. Thats when we decided enough was a enough. Went to Reception and requested a taxi as we were not willing to stay in the hotel - We would like to point out at this point we should have given the chance to be moved however with the feel that no-one was here (except us) and 20 minute drive via taxi into Thessaloniki centre - we were extremely uncomfortable and very disappointed.

This hotel is tired and old. Receptionist was helpful but facilities are not up to even a basic standard. Reception area looks ok but thats where it stops. The room was dark, smelly and stuffy. Bathroom was dirty with mildew everywhere. the whole hotel smelt of cigarrette smoke. We didn't even bother checking in!

Place was overall ok however the beds were terrible! Not worth the money!

Have stayed several times in this hotel and always enjoyed the experience. Good room ,nice breakfast, friendly staff. Very convenient for the airport. However this time there was a wedding and the noise went on till 2am. I did manage to get to sleep and, despite this, will be pleased to stay there again. Lovely swimming pool.

Lovely hotel, lots of space and welcoming staff. Beautiful swimming pool and very convenient for the airport. I felt very rested and was able to relax and enjoy the flight.

This hotel is handy for the airport. It has some older rooms which are ok, and some refurbished ones which are very nice. It's pot luck! The staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it's well worth while.

The showers are TINY, so if you're an average sized American male, you won't fit without getting the bathroom floor all wet. Good thing for the drain in the middle of the floor. Breakfast on the weekends was actually pretty good, and room service was palatable. The bed felt like sleeping on a concrete slab, and the room was hot during the day because you have to put your room card in the master switch right inside the door. Take the card out of the door and everything in the room (including the AC) shuts down. Granted, it was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. On the upside, they have a giant German Shepherd out front named Cujo that is very friendly and loves being scratched behind the ear.

Unfortunately there was a wedding scheduled that night so we couldn't use the pool AND the restaurant was closed!! (The management did tell us that we could order a meal from whatever the wedding was having!) Also, unfortunately, the hotel cess pool was being pumped out (on a Saturday night just before a wedding reception) RIGHT outside our room - so we couldn't use the air conditioning/fan for some time - in 95 degree weather.
