Four Seasons Hotel

Close to the Thessaloniki airport, but not 3 our of 5 stars.

This hotel is recommended by 88% of people on the review I saw but it is one of the worst places I have stayed for the price. For $20 more a night I've stayed down on the waterfront in a 4 star hotel but this one was a 2 star at best and definitely not worth the price. There is a long list of specific issues I could list but not worth the time other than to say the heat didn't work well, only warm water in shower, internet only worked one day, etc.

About 10 minutes from the airport, but you will have to take a taxi. The pool area was nice enough. Bring food with you. They messed up a club sandwich...big time. The room was comfortable and clean. Not a fancy place. Big balcony. The staff were ok. The woman at the front desk game me and the next guest rooms that had not been cleaned yet. Solid internet. A good place for a night before flying out of Thessaloniki although I think that there are closer hotels.

Positives: WiFi worked well and they accommodated our request for an additional twin bed so I could sleep with my two kids in the same room. Negatives: Unfortunately they truly do not have a restaurant on the premises as most items are not available and it should never take 90 minutes to get a simple spaghetti especially when nobody else has ordered food. The boss at the hotel was speaking disrespectfully to his staff. Workers at the pool & bar area were spending more time smoking, drinking coffee, and socializing instead of tending to guests. More examples of bad customer service, not willing to waste more time on the subject. This was the worst experience of our 3 week trip to Greece.

Fine for an airport hotel. Pool is nice to. Staff friendly. Buffet breakfast is good.

Not good, had to get on a flight at 5 am.... Hotel had a wedding that night lasted till 3:30 am

It worked because it was inexpensive and close to the airport.

Booked online and charged €12 for an extra person (child) once I arrived. Not a bad hotel for under $50 total. Looked for a friend to stay same night after I booked and rates had gone up to $117. That would be disappointing. Room smelled of smoke and air conditioner was so loud you couldn't hear the airplanes. Remote was confusing but eventually figured out how to work the temperature. Shower very small and dated, but functional if you were careful. 19" TV worked for sound, but haven't seen a tv like this in 30+ years. Two twin beds were adequate. It appears they have weddings and other gatherings pool side. Be sure they do not have a function if you plan on using the pool. Outdoor Facilities were older and although there was not a menu for the pool side bar/restaurant, an employee told us they could prepare several different types of food. Nobody else was eating so we ipted to drive 2km to the town just south and order a Roma pizza. The quoted €10 for vehicle transportation to the airport was more expensive because it was before 8am. I personally dropped off my rental car and took a shuttle but friends opted to split a €30 shuttle and it arrived on time.

The hotel is ok. What i really like is the playground area as art of the breakfast room

Great staff - very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable.
