Really friendly, central and right on the beach.
I booked room 1, and it overlooked the waterfront. It was beautiful, and the room was very comfortable. The host was kind and gracious to us. The shower seemed a little hard to figure out, but that could just be user error (American background), and the sink in the bathroom didn’t have hand soap. Other than that, the home is very well kept and nice, not unlike the hosts. I would highly recommend booking room 1 for the incredible view, and I wouldn’t recommend anywhere but Moelwyn Bed and Breakfast to stay in Criccieth. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location - sea view. Functional - no major issues Great character if some fittings (eg carpet) are a little dated You are given a room key and a key to the front door - no one in reception most of the time. Feels like staying in your own room rather than a hotel!
Owners were exceptionally friendly and allowed an early check-in. Couldn’t have asked for more
Quaint bedroom with lovely sea views and comfortable bed. Clean and a good sized en-suite with a Jacuzzi bath. A good stay.

My wife & I stayed her for one night in late June 2024 before visiting Portmeirion the following day (less than half an hour away). We got a good deal, being cheaper than other hotels in the area. We particularly liked the location right on the seafront - we were able to listen to the waves as they gently rolled in.
