The Fleece Inn

Very clean and comfortable room. But the balcony sleeping area not suitable for older children as due to low roof and ladder from main bedroom a little awkward. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast very nice, although no cereal or fruit. Main problem was evening meal when we waited over an hour for main course and when asked how much longer the food would be the waiter implied that we had been forgotten about, by which time my 6 year old was tired and fed up!

Fabulous place to stay. Lovely views, amazing staff and beautiful food. Would definitely stay again and certainly recommend to a friend.

Shower flooded and did not flow away down the drain. Light in en-suite did not go off.

A lovely location, a little remote if you want to venture out to another restaurant but that is what I like in a hotel; and really you don't need it, the restaurant is great. It's a shame the weather wasn't a little warmer as it would have been nice to sit out on the terrace and enjoy the views. Hopefully I will be able to return later in the year to make the most of it. The toilet had a flushing issue which I raised and the TV had no signal...neither of these spoiled my enjoyment.

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't fault it. We would visit the area and stay here again without hesitation - the Fleece is perfect for a short break, and the food here is excellent and exceeded our expectations.

Excellent customer service delivered by all staff members who made our stay so good we cant wait to repeat it. Very relaxing hotel withe beautiful at both breakfast and dinner. Good quality drinks. Were given the bridal suite which was very tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Plenty of free parking and bus stops outside.

Great little inn family run and friendly with a lovely view of the beatiful valley.

The hotel was in pretty good condition. Good facilities with calm and lovely staff. I love the fact it has a parking lot and offered a breakfast.
