Lovely clean comfortable room. Great breakfast served by friendly staff. Great location for shops, pubs and restaurants. Bus stop nearby which we used to go to Grasmere for a walk to Grisedale Tarn.

"Great stay in good location but would not return in winter."

Property was centrally located which was good. Reasonable price for NYE. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The room we were in was very cold. Hearing was turned off at night which left the room freezing overnight until the heating was turned back on in the morning. Although we had electric heater in the room we had to give this to friends next door whose room was even colder than ours. Extra blanket or hot water bottle would have helped. Parking extremely limited which meant we had to pay to park in long stay car park at £12 per day.
