"Don’t believe the 9.5* hyped reviews. It’s good but not that good."

Prices seemed reasonable. It’s got parking. It’s central, and it’s very clean.

Rooms are basic but not up to spec of a premier inn. No plugs for easy access of charging devices. dangerous double bed frame with sharp corners. Breakfast service was very slow, and bacon was over cooked on both days, bread is basic super market stuff. Dining area and rooms are dated.

Great central location but nice and quiet. Lovely room overlooking a beautiful church. The owner was friendly and attentive. Parking is tight but they assisted to ensure everyone could get a space. Breakfast was lovely. Cant fault it.

We loved everything about our stay at the Gables Guest house. The location was perfect, the breakfast was so tasty and needed before a long day of walking. Rohan was an absolutely wonderful host.
