"Beware of the stairs"

New purpose for historic building. Comfortable and spacious room. Parking.

There were stairs on the floor and we weren’t informed about them before dragging our luggage up to our room. My husband uses a cane and I am recovering from knee replacement. While they would have changed our room, we were already up there, tired, and didn’t want the hassle. A second issue was there were several menu shortages by the end of the weekend. Disappointing especially for a breakfast we had to pay for.

Really friendly staff! Good vibes. Well laid out rooms, new plumbing. Nice breakfast. And great location, two blocks from Upstate Hospital, where my spouse was having a procedure done.

It was clean, nicely decorated, and the staff was friendly. Also, free parking was very convenient for us, as we toured the University on our check-out day. It was a nice bonus to nor have to find and possibly pay for other parking. The price was a bit high but still manageable.

Stayed at the Hotel Skyler for one night while visiting Syracuse. What a lovely hotel! We had a 1 bedroom suite, and it was charming. We truly appreciated the charming historic details. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so kind and helpful. We checked in very late at night and the person on duty was very nice. The next morning, breakfast was tasty. I will for sure stay here again if we are in the area.
