Conrad Punta de Mita

Could not have asked for a better stay! The warm greeting goes beyond your first steps into the beautiful hotel - it lasts throughout your entire stay with the kind, attentive, and eager to help staff throughout the entire hotel. A special and heartfelt thank you and shout out especially to Fabio and Chef Armando at the restaurant Arbol who were so incredibly generous and attentive, both through the quality of the food and service. Couldn’t speak higher of them!

Wonderful experience!

This resort has good and bad, but the bad outweighed the good for me. The good: the beach is idyllic. The ocean is beautiful, warm and swim-friendly. The wait staff at the beach are friendly and gracious. We loved Leonardo, who took exceptional care of our family. He was so friendly and attentive, bringing a 5 star vibe. The hotel has three spacious heated pools and a small water slide (mostly good for children under 10). Also, they have a game room which was unique and allowed our kids some variety and a space that was theirs. The bad: the service at the rest of the hotel is spotty. Our room was not cleaned two different days, and another evening they took our used towels and did not replace them. We had two very unpleasant interactions with Claudia at the breakfast buffet. She was unnecessarily confrontational and aggressive when speaking with us, and the second time we were seated in her section, she neglected our table. The rooms have nice decor and the balconies are huge. We kept our AC between 20.5 and 21.5 and we would alternate between freezing and overheating; this woke us up several times each night so we didn’t get as much R&R as we had hoped for. Also, the bathrooms need updating (there was mold in our bathroom, the toilet seat was awkwardly much smaller than the toilet bowl, and the faucets splash everywhere regardless so how much or little you turn the handles). We have been a Hilton family for at least 5 years. We have had diamond status, which we loved and were looking at renewing, but this experience left me second guessing my loyalty to the Hilton brand.

We booked a two-bedroom suite. Our Concierge/Butlers William and Edgar, (on William’s day off) took great care of us, arranging transportation, texting every morning confirming our daily schedules or dinner reservations and always texting good night-Top notch service all around with daily room cleaning/turn down service, along with complimentary beverages and snacks-a nice touch. Only 2 things to note: Pool temperatures were running high while we were there, but perhaps the summer weather kept them hotter and there was no way to cool them down? It was warm bath temp and on a hot day, didn’t refresh at all. Iguanas are everywhere which are fun to spot, but they did poop along the pool’s edge so beware. I wish employees paid closer attention to the iguana poop instead of walking over it. The Conrad is a perfect family friendly hotel and spa! The beach was amazing with smooth sand and clean clear water. All the food is extremely delicious. The fish tacos are second to none. The wood oven pizzas are also solid. We can’t wait to return to the Conrad. It’s a little piece of heaven about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta!

We just returned from our second stay at Conrad Punta de Mita and it was just as amazing as we remembered. The property is stunning, but what keeps bringing us back is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Even though it’s a large resort, everything feels close—especially the pool areas, which we love. There are three main pool sections: one for families with kids, an infinity pool, and an adult-only area, so you can choose the vibe you’re looking for. The beach is beautiful, and right now the ocean is warm and inviting. The pool water is also nicely heated, and the jacuzzi is a great bonus. The food options are solid. We tried the chilaquiles with mole at breakfast (recommended by Rodolfo) and they were delicious. As always, Francisco and Edgar provided outstanding service at El Mezquite. Our room was spotless with a breathtaking view—huge thanks to the housekeeping team for keeping it so cozy and fresh throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

William was an incredible concierge! He made any experience an absolute breeze to organize. The rooms were very comfortable and don’t want to leave when it was time to go home.
