Lovely spa hotel with good facilities

The Whittlebury Hall Hotel is a comfortable hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. The standard rooms are large and generally well equipped though the room we were in didn’t have air conditioning. We were given a fan but it didn’t really make a great deal of difference. The room had a small window and two Velux windows in the ceiling which let some air in but the room still felt warm. In general though it’s a nice place to stay and reasonably priced.

Paid for an expensive club room but it was grubby and in need of a good clean. The seats had, what i hope were splashes of cofee on them, or it could have been dried blood. Room 261. The bed was two singles pushed together and was lumpy and very uncomfortable. The pillows were awful - just bags of lumps of foam of different sizes. Breakfast was included but we werent told that at check in so didnt have it the first day. Likewise there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge and some snacks but no one told us it was complimentary - there were no signs so we assumed it was to be paid for so didnt have it. We did eat in the pub bar and the food was surprisingly good and not expensive. The pool was ok - bit shallow but it and the changing rooms were clean. All of the staff with the exception of one male on reception were very polite and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and valued as guests. We checked in around 4pm and there wasnt a queue but from 5 onwards there was a long queue until nearly 7 with only one person on reception although there were other staff in the room behind reception they didnt come out to help. Plenty of parking and good location for silverstone. Lots of banging doors (none had soft closers) around midnight (others guests) and we were opposite the cleaners cupboard so were woken up every morning by them.

Poor service at dinner excessive supplement cost of meal. Very uncomfortable pillows on bed. Again poor service at breakfast being told someone would take order for tea no one appeared but plenty of staff milling around plates and breakfast only warm very mediocre and eventually had to ask for a pot of tea. I could excuse if staff were run ragged but it was quiet. Not a hotel i would recommend to friends or family

Had great spa stay, lovely staff, excellent facilities, great food. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back!

The rooms aren’t in the main building. The condition of the it was poor. Dirty floor, thin wall and the biggest problem was the strong smell in the toilet. Won’t return again.

What a hidden gem! We were pleasantly surprised to find this at such a great price the day we needed it. Yes some areas of the hotel are a little tired but we loved it. A lift, air conditioning, lovely spacious room and the pool…. Wow! The restaurant was great valve for the evening meal as was the complimentary breakfast. There was nothing here we didn’t like. We wished we could have done 2 nights here! Thank you team we had a wonderful stay over.
