Unfriendly staff room was not in good condition

It’s solid. Staff was nice.

Super rude reception who doesn’t understand the basics of hotel service. She couldn’t even greet guests or say welcome, and answering a simple question seemed too much for her. On top of that, the elevator was out of service, and my mother, who has arthrodesis, had to climb two flights of stairs, which was extremely difficult for her. She didn’t bother to give us a room on a floor where the elevator was working, which could have saved my mother from this pain. I believe her behavior and tone toward certain people showed clear racism, and this is completely against any hotel policy. Even though the place itself was okay, this ended up being one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Property was easily accessible. When we checked in after a long drive, the front desk staff made us think that choosing this hotel was a terrible mistake. She mentioned that our room is 209 but gave us key for 309. We need to explain her twice that the room number and the key are not matching. Finally she gave us the right key. Next came the second blow - elevator doesn’t stop in 2nd floor. We need to carry all our luggages through stairs. When we entered the room, the room had 1 king bed whereas what we reserved was a room with 2 queen beds. We need to go back to her to get it changed to room with queen beds. We need to move our luggages again to another room - thankfully the new room is in the same level as earlier. Wondering what is the reason for picking a room type during reservation? Room was okay - old fashioned but manageable. Looks like the bathroom was upgraded recently. Breakfast options were limited - didn’t have eggs in the first place. Staff loaded a few quantities after inquiring that the protein options were very limited. Overall not a pleasant stay. May not choose next time.

Check- in was great as was the young woman who checked us in. Room was fine, but everything was fairly cheap as far as bedding and pillows went. Pillows were awful!! Overall the room itself was clean, but not stellar. The bathroom needed a deep clean and definitely did not meet my expectation for even a budget hotel. If those couple of things were addressed, I would say it is fine for the price. The space of the room was great, but the full size mirror at the head of the bed feels kind of trashy and 80s cheesy.

Nice, clean and spacious room. The continental breakfast was good and had a nice selection. Located close to all the shopping stores

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy beds and good breakfast.

I would stay again if in the area. It is well kept and a good value at the price. Being relatively new helps.
