Riad Andalib

A lovely traditional riad. Our room was very spacious (and had a lovely balcony as well). The host was very helpful with maps and directions, and arranged a tour of the outer areas of the city as well. Staff were helpful in getting taxis and negotiating the fare. The onsite restaurant served excellent breakfasts and dinners (if ordered in advance) in the courtyard area. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and the availability of wine with dinner.

Located at the entrance to the Medina and very well furnished, amenities, food, but best was the service and attention, especially by the owner, Reibal , who is very friendly, helpful and informative.

We spent 3 nights at Riad Andalib and it was such a fabulous riad. And I spent a lot of time researching our options. The riad is incredibly well run and is clearly a passion project for the owner who does his best to greet every guest upon arrival and each morning at breakfast. And not just a greeting, he takes the time to help you make the most out of your time in Fes. No detail has been left to chance, from the design of the rooms to the breakfast options. Everything is well maintained, clean and tastefully decorated. The staff is friendly and responsive. The location is perfect -- just outside the medina, making arrival and departure easy. Raibal ensures you know the best way to get to and from the medina for maximum enjoyment. He recommended a masterful guide for a tour of Fes, another passionate Fes local who loves history. The common areas are a terrific option to relax in the afternoon, after a day exploring and before dinner. We enjoyed the breakfast offered each morning and also the dinner one night during our stay. For a comfortable and most pleasant stay in Fes, this is THE place to be.

I would have liked a better hairdryer, but now I just sound petty. ;-)

A very nicely redone ancient building in a great car-accessible location on the edge of the Medina. The proprietor is exceptional in his welcome that includes much useful information and history about Fes and a deep passion for the place. Also his communication before our arrival was very helpful. Nice upstairs terrace and wonderful restaurant.

Sometimes these roads have a sun terrace and pool on the roof. Andalib has a lovely terrace with tables but the pool is in the lobby downstairs.
