フェズの旧市街の中心部にあるのに静寂で清潔でバスタブもある大きな部屋はモロッコで一番快適で、一泊の積りが3泊してしまいました。スタッフもオーナーも親切で親しみやすい方たちでした。レンタカーで移動していたのですが、ここはパークスペースがありません。なので300ﾒｰﾄﾙほど離れたところにあるパブリックParkingに置く必要があります。旧市街のアコモデーションは皆パークスペースはない様ですがフェスを楽しむにはやはり旧市街泊ですね。

Everything about Ryad Andalib is top notch. Most of all the hosts owner is a generous, caring person whose chief desire seems to be to help and to please. He has constructed a manner of presentation from the first to set one st ease and to guide one. And he has constructed a small staff who are a delight to interact with and are immediately ready to serve and do so in a quiet and mannered way. The Riad itself is lovely. We had an extensive room with a small private patio and a large roof patio wss also available. The excellent and elaborate breakfasts are served in the central area where we also chose to have 2 dinners, that were excellent including cocktails and wine. With quiet music. Reibal is a knowledgeable person with s rich and interesting history who was glad to share knowledge about the spread of Islam, the influence of the French, and the history of Fez that all enriched our stay. On a more practical level he provided necessary change for our large Moroccan bills, and repeatedly summoned taxis for us giving directions to the drivers and counseled us as to the best ways to master the Medina. Finally, the location of the Riad was very easy to direct all our taxi drivers to.

A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square. Visiting Morocco from the UK, we have just had three wonderful nights stay at Riad Andalib, located in the exciting Medina of Fes. Built around an ornately decorated quadrangle, with a trickling water fountain at its centre, this beautifully restored traditional yet modern Riad is a calm, delightful and conveniently located place to stay when visiting Fes. The hand carved plasterwork decorations on the walls and ceilings are incredible, demonstrating the skill and dedication of many craftsmen.  The rooms are well equipped, WiFi everywhere, with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. The food is exquisite: large breakfasts fit for a King & Queen to set guests up nicely for a day visiting the sights of Fes. And the dinners are delicious: the best tagines and couscous we’ve had so far on our trip to Morocco. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, and all the staff, together with a super helpful brief and advice about visiting the Souks (including how to avoid getting lost). The Riad is also accessible by road, meaning you can be dropped right at the door by a taxi and avoid the difficulty of trying to carry luggage through crowded narrow walkways deep in the Medina. The name of this Riad, Andalib, translates as Nightingale and has inspired our choice of the famous song by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole (and many others) to title this review. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable stay. Very highly recommended to others visiting Fes.

We loved everything about this Riad.

Host Reibal was amazing, he helped us so much during our trip to Fes in Ramadan, gave us plentiful information on how to navigate the old city, what to do and what to be careful of, complimentary moroccon mint tea and traditional moroccon sweets to enjoy when we arrived. Suhoor and Iftar was taken care of for us, plenty to keep you going for the day and with Iftar we had the option of just breaking our fast (free of charge) with dates, water and traditional moroccon Harira soup at the Riad, but there's also an option to dine in at a charge if you prefer with their a la carte menu. Omar was great always looking after us for our suhoor, iftar and assisting in and out the Riad, always with a smile and care Room was spacious, A/C in rooms, Iron on request, thick bed duvet available for any cold nights and bathroom was spacious, cleaning service was always efficient, and always returned back to the Riad with a clean room. Genuinely a lovely place to stay right near the edge of the medina/old city with easy access for a taxi to pick up and drop-off, very family friendly place to stay and would highly recommend, no doubts I would come back here again.

Reibal and staff are all so lovely a big thanks to Omar . Great location did not feel unsafe walking through souks .

The only problem we had was no taxi has a working seatbelt in the back seats of cars . Nothing to do with Riad .
