Royal Palm Resort on the Beach

The location was great but the room was not. It was dirty, old, mouldy, it wasn’t nice.

This place didn’t have aircon!!!! You assume in the hot GC you will have aircon but wrong assumption. It was also old, dirty, dusty and mouldy. Couldn’t even sit on the couches, filthy.

Such an amazing location, the resort is right on the beach and also just a short walk away from the estuary (and a nice cafe overlooking it). We had beautiful views from our room, of the beach/sea, pool area and up the coast. The pool is great, really big, and good for little kids with a slide and shallow areas. Our room, although dated decor, had really comfortable beds, was clean, spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed and more. Would definitely love to stay there again!

The location was excellent. Best views on the GC. The lifts were readily available, halls and lobby clean and underground parking was nice. Enjoyed the pool area and access to the beach. Very nice main bathroom with washer and dryer.

The deluxe apartment was without air conditioning. The unit wasn't cleaned properly and the carpet and sofa had stains on them. The fridge door shelving was missing and there was broken shelving in the main closet and leftover paint and stuff from previous people with sand in it. They did not provide dishwashing soaps for our 5 day stay. We don't travel with dishsoap. There dishes seemed mismatch and laking a few things in the kitchen.

Maybe as improvement the carpets could be steam cleaned regularly. Missus complained of dust but l barely could smell it.
