Majestic Hotel

Ein besonderes, geschichtsträchtiges Hotel, das an vergangene Zeiten erinnert, aber dennoch zeitgemäßen Komfort bietet. Wir hatten ein großes, gut eingereichtes Zimmer mit einem riesigen Bad. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und vielseitig.

Im Treppenhaus war der Teppich verschmutzt und auch etwas abgenutzt.

A truly beautiful hotel… the rooms are huge. The staff are incredible, the bar and patio are fabulous.. no complaints at all..

Not enough lighting in the bathroom. The shower head badly placed in my bathroom. Need more outlets in the room

Avant de faire ma réservation sur Booking, j’ai bien précisé que je cherchais un hôtel avec des chambres fumeurs (avec balcon). C’est pour cette raison que j’ai choisi l’hôtel Majestic. Malheureusement, une fois sur place, on m’a interdit de fumer même sur le balcon. Dans la classification officielle, l’hôtel est présenté comme un 4 étoiles. Cependant, après mon séjour, je ne pense pas qu’il mérite encore cette classification. J’ai d’ailleurs partagé quelques photos de la chambre pour illustrer mon expérience.

Lovely old Colonial Hotel, a bit worn around the edges. If you want modern facilities look elsewhere but if you like nostalgia this is the place. Reception area needs a makeover. Bar serves alcohol which is a plus.

Third floor corridor carpet very dirty. Could do with a smoke free area in the bar

Personale molto gentile e professionale. Soprattutto i signori della manutenzione. Bravissimi. Camera spaziosa e arredata molto bene. Colazione buonissima e molto ricca. Tutto perfetto

The grandeur

Pillows are sadly appalling like almost all pillows in Tunisia. Bits of foam in a sack do not make a comfortable pillow. Room is not sound proof from next room.

I have stayed in the hotel since 1973. I see it is now being refurbished. I am happy about that. It is long overdue. I wish it well for the future.

It is going through a refurbishment time. I look forward to booking when the works are completed.
