Beautiful breakfast-stunning location -spotlessly clean , rooms comfortable with everything you might need - Liz and Chris are wonderful hosts -we felt well looked after

Loved the location and breakfast was good

We both felt that there was too many rules and as there was loads of brolleys by the front door which we assumed was for guests to use as it was always raining and there was no notice on them we assumed we could borrow one to get us to the car.but on our return was told in no uncertain terms they were not for guest use so I would suggest that they make that point clear so future guests are not spoken to in such an abrupt manner

Great cottage house, all the comfort you need, Liz and Chris are very attentive hosts, the breakfast is generous and well catered. The garden and the view are precious! The room is lovely and the whole place is impressively filled with antiques.

Nothing really! Maybe just we would have appreciated having a bit more flexible choice concerning breakfast time

Liz and Chris are extremely approachable and friendly and have an abundance of knowledge about the area. The breakfast was excellent and where possible the produce was locally sourced. Their bed and breakfast is in a beautiful spot, on the quiet side of Windermere. There is easy access to Windermere Lakeside. We went to explore Beatrix Potter's home and the surrounding area. We couldn't have wished for a better location.

My wife and I particularly loved the view on the lake from our room. The house itself is a little jewel. The peace and quiet were fantastic. The breakfast was sumptous.

There is nnothing I can think about to improve.

De locatie was prima. Mooi uitzicht over het Windermere. Kamer was oké. Fijne grote badkamer.

Een waslijst vol regels. Er werd medegedeeld 9 uur ontbijt. (Geen keus) De tweede dag waren we een kleine 10 minuten later. Meteen de opmerking dat we te laat waren. BAH! De eigenaresse had 2 gezichten. Een goedemorgen kon er niet vanaf. Te bang dat we iets negatiefs zouden schrijven lag het gastenboek niet op de plek waar het steeds had gelegen op de dag van ons vertrek. Geen fijne herinnering aan het verblijf.
