Hotel Collingwood BW Signature Collection

Lovely rooms. Fantastic breakfast and staff were happy, friendly and helpful. They have a bar too. There are spa facilities here, which we didn’t use, but looked lovely. Hotel is situated perfectly for the BIC, beach and town. There is a hill to walk up from the BIC, but if you are unable to do this you can get a bus from the pier which stops outside the hotel. You can use a bus pass if you have one.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Staff first and foremost is what makes this places. Facilities, rooms and food all exceeded my expectations. The hotel is able to cater to all ages as there is a pool/sauna/spa, a games room with a pool table, foosball and table tennis plus a beautifully decorated restaurant to finish off the evening while enjoying a nice drink from the bar. 10 out of 10 for my stay. Well done team.

Paying for parking

The location is perfect! Just a short walk from the town and the beach with restaurants and shops right on the doorstep. The facilities are excellent, the pool, sauna, jacuzzi. There is a games room and the bar and terrace are beautifully designed and create a relaxing atmosphere.

The general manager is rude and unwelcoming, considering he is the first person you meet on arrival he has very little (if any) customer service skills. It really is a shame as all of the other staff around the property are so friendly and chatty and welcoming he should leave them to the hospitality. When we were tidying our room up to check out my little boy was checking around the beds that he had all his toys, he found an empty open can/carton of cat food!! Not only is this extremely unhygienic he could have hurt himself on the can/carton. We went straight to check out as we were leaving anyway and told the manager it had been found under the bedside table, he laughed …. No apology… no embarrassment… just laughed and said I will let housekeeping know! Not the response I was expecting.

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Bereits bei der Ankunft war das Doppelzimmer nicht richtig sauber. Im Badezimmer gab es losen Staub. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde im Zimmer nicht gesaugt oder gefegt. Ebenso im Bad. Da wir bei geöffneten Fenster schlafen und es in der zweiten Nacht windig war, wurden durch den Wind Blüten ins Zimmer gefegt. Diese lagen den Rest der Zeit (7 Tage) im Zimmer. Am Tag vor der Abreise wurde - außer Handtuchwechsel- gar nichts gemacht.
