It was surrounded by greenery. Plenty of places to sit on the property.

That the acess for the back rooms is all the way past all the other rooms.

The location is nice.

This was a very, very poor experience. Apparently there is no reception, so when we arrived we had to deal with an electronic panel. However, it did not work as no code had been sent to us (while we had paid for the room in full beforehand). Apparently one has to pay for a security bond (or provide credit card details) before one can have access to the key. I was standing in the pouring rain, there is not even a little roof above this panel and the intercom on the panel did not work. A telephone number was also available, but I had messaged the property beforehand that I can only WhatsApp with my telephone number. Soaking wet I went back to the car to message the property to please let us into our room. After some time a lady appeared with an umbrella. She opened the door to the last room on the ground floor for me, and asked me for my credit card details for the bond. I asked “Is there an umbrella provided in the room?” “No”. “Oh. Your intercom is not working and gives an error message?” No response to that. And after some small talk about the hot and wet weather she walked off with the umbrella, in stead of lending it to me while getting our suitcases out of the car in the down pour. So much for hospitality. The room was very basic, certainly not worth the price (AU$ 234 through booking.com) if I compare it to other rooms we’ve been in, in the past month during our road trip in Australia. The TV was not working. The cold water tap of the washing basin could not be opened by my spouse, it was too difficult for her. A big spider next to the bed near the sliding door to the very small bathroom. After switching on the shower it takes more than a minute for the hot water to arrive. No space to put your toiletry bag unless at the small window sill. Only one socket next to a bed side, only for the bedside lamp. This room is nowhere worth the price we paid, even though the bed was OK. All in all: a big disappointment and a seriously subpar experience.

The secluded location, the quiet. Room was comfortable and clean.

Not that we didnt like, just 3 things to help improve were a little soap dish in bathroom to pop soap bars, ice cube trays in freezer part of fridge and maybe a floor length mirror. But maybe these were just creature comforts we were missing.

The room was spotless, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the property really stood out. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings and enjoying the calm atmosphere was such a highlight.

Nothing major, only that we wished we could have stayed longer.

Just loved the peace and quiet and the owner was so sweet and made our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast and the coffee was a lovely bonus.
