Olde Mill House B&B

Great hosts and a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and ensuite bathroom was so good. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to visit and stay again soon.

This property was absolutely beautiful and it was just starting to be spring, hot tub was all to ourselves and the room was perfect. Janice and Mark are wonderfully accommodating and also very helpful for planning your day as they are South Island natives and have picked up a lot of advice from other travelers about what they liked and didn't like about other parts of the north and south island. The bike for hire was a super plus and also their cat Lauchie is good for pet withdrawal! Would highly suggest this place.

We arrived early, no problem. We had a coffee out front in the garden while we planned our route. We borrowed the bikes (for free) and did a 25 km bike ride to 7 wineries and a brewery. In the evening we relaxed in the hot tub. It was very close to town for supper. Breskfast was excellent. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and entertaining. It was a pleasure staying with them.

Lovely clean room with excellent facilities good food at breakfast. Excellent hosts who will give you recommendations for eating out and wine tours when hiring out the bikes.

Mark and Janice are great hosts being very friendly and informative about where you can go in the area. They provides bikes for guests so you can cycle around the place visiting as many or as few wineries as you like. There are a large number that are within an easy cycle and the area is quite flat. They provide a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, croissants and Janice’s delicious preserves. Their garden provides most of the fruit for her jams. You will meet the other guests and share your stories over breakfast which is good fun. They have 3 rooms for guests and the room we were in was quite spacious with an en-suite. There isn’t a lot of pubs, restaurants or shops in Renwick but there is a pub called The Cork and Keg which provided a tasty meal and there is also a supermarket where you could buy some provisions. What is great about staying here is the great service that they provide by collecting you and dropping you off. In our case it was from the nearby airport.

Great location very relaxing beautiful gardens and so close to everything

Just had 2 nights with Mark and Janice at The Olde Mill House. They were the perfect hosts who made us feel very welcome. The room was immaculate and they had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We took their bikes out for a day to visit the local wine tasting rooms which is a must do activity. Can highly recommend this location.

Very friendly staff. Use of bikes. Breakfast is communal with the other guests; very adequate. Owners gave us good knowledge of vineyards to visit and where to eat out.

Very friendly B&B with excellent breakfast. Bikes were provided and information on how to tour the Marlborough vineyards. Fabulous service.
