Would recommend this hotel.

The Banyan Leaf Hotel has the most professional and friendly staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. Nothing is a problem and they help you with whatever you want. I was having a problem finding a ride to the airport due to a massive rain, so one of the staff borrowed a tuck tuck and drove me through the rainstorm to the airport. Just amazing hotel, and my definite choice when I go back to Siem Reap.

We had a very pleasant stay because of the impeccable service. We will def recommend this hotel. The staff were very helpful and went out of the way to assist us when in need.

Pros:- Very helpful staff, extremely friendly, clean hotel --- Cons:- No electricity during afternoon, no lifts

I spent 2 nights in this hotel and what I can say is that you really have a good value for the money you spend. The rooms are nice (We had a room with balcony), everything is very clean and cleaned everyday. The breakfast is ok, and including in the price! But the most enjoyable thing is the staff amiability and the way they always make everything to help you. Just ask them whatever you want and they will make everything possible to satisfy your request, just remarkable. The location is also nice as it's around 10 minutes walking from the night market and pub street. So you have the advantage that it's still quiet but not far from animated places. Awesome value.

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon in Cambodia. We very tired from a long and bumpy van ride from Phnom Penh when we arrived, and were told that they had overbooked the hotel and had to transport us to another hotel down the street. We were fairly annoyed at this, but they were nice about it and said they would arrange a tuk tuk ride back to Banyan Leaf the next morning and then would give us a discount on a tuk tuk tour to Angkor Wat. However, the next morning we waited for 35 minutes after our previously agreed upon time. We ended up walking halfway back to Banyan Leaf before we ran into the tuk tuk driver who was supposed to pick us up. By this time we were pretty annoyed. They recognized their disorganization and ended up giving us the tuk tuk tour for free, which we appreciated. Our interactions with the staff was very pleasant the entire time. It just seemed like everything was poorly organized. The rooms themselves were standard, nothing special, clean enough. We booked a king bed but got two double beds instead - comfortable enough since my husband and I each got our own bed (!) but not super romantic especially for a honeymoon. As for their breakfast, I remember there was a decent selection - my husband really liked the yummy fried rice. I was dealing with a bit of food poisoning myself (not from this hotel's food) so wasn't able to get much personal experience with the food :)

This was a great hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Welcome drink on arrival, clean room and great service. The shower could have been better, but on the whole, a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs. Room was not cleaned every day during our stay however fresh towels, water etc. was made available to us upon request.

The staff here are fantastic , considering it is perhaps upmarket backpacker accomodation the staff are allways visible and always polite and friendly, you can always find them and they try their best to oblige to your request. It is a new hotel so very clean with a small swim pool at the front entrance and the bedrooms have well everything you need. On paper it looks a long way from the "night Markets and pub street" but once you have walked it 2 or 3 times it seems ok, besides there are lots of other hotels in Siem Reap further away.Definitly recommend this place and considering the cost includes a" filling breakfast "it is good value

What a wonderful value this hotel truly is.... The customer service is wonderful.... I forgot my blackberry phone in the room, and the maid service gave it to the management. They mailed my phone the same day and I received it the next morning..... I am very fortunate to have stayed with this nice honest people. I will definitely visit again.... Thank you for the wonderful service.... Good karma... good vibes :)- Nice rooms as well.....
