Völlige Ruhe. Angemahnte Punkte einer vorangegangenen Rezension wurden beseitigt oder sind dabei. Frühstück war von allem was dabei. Nicht Hotelgäste wurden höflich vom Pool verwiesen.

Am dazugehörigen Restaurant waren die Preise doch etwas höher als bei den umliegenden Restaurants

Мы путешествовали вчетвером: двое взрослых и двое детей 2 и 4 года. Нам бесплатно предоставили детскую колыбель и платно - хороший матрас. Нам бы всё равно пришлось платить за старшего ребенка, матрас шел в этой цене. Завтрак был отличный: континентальный + местная кухня. Вообще место шикарное, все свои, абсолютный релакс. Рядом местная деревушка, есть один магазин, который не работает по понедельникам. Есть кафе в деревне и на пляже, везде немного разные цены. Готовят просто офигенно вкусно. Мы потом переехали на Клонг Прао, там не нашли такую же вкусноту. Нам очень понравилось. В следующем году снова там остановимся!

Надо иметь в виду: в номерах на первом этаже обязательно закрывайте балкон и входные двери. К нам на балкон заползала змея, соседку ужалил скорпион, ну и комаров куча. Само место удалено от "большой жизнь". В этом и плюсы и минусы. Минусы в том, что еда и напитки немного дороже, меньше фруктов и, соответственно, свежевыжатых соков.

Es hat einen schönen kleinen Pool direkt am Strand. Es gibt ein paar kleine Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt.

Das Personal ist extrem unfreundlich und die Ankunft war eine absolute Katastrophe. In keinem Fall ist dieses Hotel in 4-Sterne-Hotel. Bei Anreise erzählte man uns, dass wir obwohl mehrfach E-Mail-Kontakt bestanden hat, ein Zusatzbett für unser 5jähriges Kind buchen müssen und ansonsten für das Frühstück extra bezahlen müssen, obwohl wir eindeutig eine Unterkunft für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind mit Früstück gebucht hatten. Trotz mehreren Verweis darauf, dass dies über Booking auch explizit bestätigt war, das keine weiteren Kosten für das skins vor Ort anfallen, wurde uns von der Mitarbeiterin nicht geglaubt und gleich beim Empfang mehrfach darum gebeten, dass Frühstück zehn Euro pro Nacht für das Kind sofort zu bezahlen, da sonst der Check in nicht möglich sei, obwohl wir mehrere hundert Euro für eine Beach Front Villa gezahlt hatten. Es wurde auch nicht angeboten es später zu klären, obwohl wir sehr müde waren und ein kleines Kind dabei hatten. Der Umgangston war extrem vorwürfig und unhöflich. Das Resort ist ansonsten sehr weit abgelegen von den etwas größeren, touristischen Orten und die Verbindungen sind schlecht, außer die zum Fährhafen. An einem Tag war extrem viel Müll am Strand angeschwemmt, so dass man dort nicht schwimmen konnte. Wir waren auch in anderen Hotels auf Koh Chang und dies war mit Abstand das schlechteste.

The dog that rides in the motorcycle sidecar is quite endearing.

There was no water supply in the room when we arrived and no-one advised us of this until we complained! We had a two-bedroom/two bathroom suite. Very badly laid out with regard to privacy: one bedroom and its bathroom bisected by the central living area. The bathroom wash basin was blocked and had to report this as well. On second day, there was no water in the toilet cistern as the cleaner had turned it off and forgotten to switch it back again. One security safe was unusable and the maintenance chap couldn't fix it despite trying for > 30 mins. Very confusing arrangement with keys to operate power. Not clear what was controlled by each key. Sometimes fridge turned off when we were out of the room, sometimes not. Bottled water in fridge frozen solid to the extent it smashed the glass bottle; potential for shards of glass to fall out on to the floor. Cleaning very variable: sometimes towels changed, sometimes bins emptied, sometimes not. One day a filthy floorcloth was left in the wash basin. Breakfast totally disorganised; had to keep asking for supplies to be replenished despite numerous staff standing around doing nothing useful. All staff seemed demotivated. Evening meal very disappointing and half of it took ages to arrive, so first dishes were spoiled by waiting. The waiter claimed he was doing a real favour by giving us discount in compensation, but we were paying cash so were entitled to discount anyway. Final straw was getting out of bed to go to the bathroom in the night and stepping (barefoot) on a huge cockroach!
