Hotel San Blas

We stayed in two different rooms, one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. The first one was on the second floor and the air conditioner was very noisy, vibrating when it was on. The second night we stayed on the third floor and it had a newer a/c, so that was fine. The tub had seen better days as it was marked. Both visits the desk staff was so helpful with suggestions for things to see, storing our luggage and putting up with us going through it several times because we had such a crazy flight time and spent a lot of the time waiting to go to the airport. My friend wasn't feeling well while waiting and Joyce at the front desk brought tea. The door man was so patient, opening the storage room for us many times and he was always there to open the cab door or the front door. Our friends had a room on the sixth floor and they said it was newly renovated. The location allowed me to walk to the shops and the Inka Village and even to Larcomar, though that is a long walk. There's a great park down the middle of the street for pedestrians and those on bikes or scooters. Thank you Joyce and staff!

Staff very helpful. Bruce at the front desk very friendly and helpful, he got us organised on the city tour which was excellent and he arranged our taxis and taxi to the airport. He has worked in USA. Room had air conditioning. Buffet breakfast. Traffic in Lima is appalling they use their horns all the time!

Good hotel in miroflores with very helpful desk staff. Just ask for Bruce behind the desk, his English is excellent and has a very friendly and professional attitude. The hotel is located in a great area and offers good local dishes as well.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our travels in Peru. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had breakfasts and dinners during our stays - tasty food and great service. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. The room was at the back of the hotel and we did not hear any traffic noise even though the hotel is located on a busy street. A special thank you to Bruce who was on the desk at the time of our departure - you were very helpful as we said goodbye to Peru.

Stayed on 6th floor with great view. Our stay was enjoyable, the breakfast was great, and the staff were so accomodating. They went the extra mile to make a birthday treat for our friend because they took the time to read the info card.

Stayed at this hotel as part of G Adventures tour. The room was spotless - clean sheets, decent bed. Although the bath was very clean, the tub was peeling and cracked. The reason for 3 of 5, was the street noise. I live in Brooklyn next to an elevated train, but could not get over how much street noise can be heard. Request a room not facing the street, if you can. Breakfast all over Peru tended to be pretty basic, this hotel was the same. Very limited and not a lot of selection.

The hotel breakfast and facilities could be better. Nasca was much better. Other smaller places have better Wi-Fi and swilling pool etc. So it was a little below the mark considering lima is the capital.

The room and bathroom were nice enough, however there was no hot water. Wi fi was only available downstairs in the lobby. Would be handy to have a map of the area including things like ; supermarkets, laundomat, the Mirflores Boardwalk and other places of intrest. In English as well as other languages.

Friendly staff that were very helpful. Rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The only downside is that this hotel is a little far out from the centre of Lima but if you like a quiet spot to relax and have a good nights sleep then this is the place. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Stayed here twice for 1 night. Bad location with restaurants far away and airport far away. Don’t understand why G adv choose this. Horrible breakfast. Wifi only at reception. Pile of dust under the beds.
