Lake City Motel

Close to eateries. We had a ground floor room that was very quiet.

Old room that needs dome TLC. Bed was very noisy. By the time I went for a shower at night the water was cold Receptionist was difficult to understand and he had difficulty understanding us.

The price was reasonable and the location wasn't bad.

Needs a lot of updates and had to buy 2 pillows so we could sleep comfortably

Location was good, 10 min drive to the city (Halifax).

Room was a tad dirty behind the dressers. You can hear people talking from your room outside.

Nice residential area to go for a walk

It was very dirty. The bed was not attached to anything. The bed spread was worn and falling apart. Wall had holes in it. Mold in bathroom. Layers of dust.

Having creamer and sugar in my room for coffee

Location and Front desk where very accommodating when asking for a later check out.

The shower had rust spots, towels looked like they where picked up at the dollar store and the TV was small.

We liked the location and staff beds where comfy

What we didn't like was when we got to the motel are room smelt like alot of perfume, plugs in bathroom didn't work,toilet barley flushed,shower took 10 mins to even get hot water and when ya did water wasnt very much pressure, other people slamming doors, you could hear everything traffic, people ,no coffee maker,microwave took forever to warm something up

Location for what I was doing was good, lots of restaurants, gas stations, and stores nearby

Older motel, older beds and rooms, but clean and taken care of.
