The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Very nice experience! The hotel is close to everything and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Let me check in early, which was a relief. Very friendly staff. The room is very cute!

I have already commented online about this hotel. Very good location; otherwise it's a bad choice! There are other hotels nearby with similarly good locations.

Sorry to be honest, but the best part was leaving the next day as soon as we could!!!

The check-in experience left a lot to be desired. The staff member on duty when we checked in, made it quite clear she was doing us a favour by checking us in and was miserable. We couldn't use the free Wi-Fi when we got to our room, because it turns our she'd given us somebody else's room, so it didn't recognise us. She then blamed us for giving her somebody else's name! We checked in with family members and repeatedly asked that our 2 rooms be charged separately. We then found out we were charged for 2 rooms and our family charged for 1 room. Someone had clearly been sick outside on the steps and it looked like it had been there for a while. The hotel had no atmosphere and looked empty. The staff member on duty when we checked out was also miserable and looked like he didn't enjoy his job. Not a pleasant experience at all. It is such a shame as it could be such a lovely hotel - just needs some enthusiastic staff who like their job! It is obviously very handy for anyone attending one of the many medical facilities, in the vicinity. Otherwise, not close to anything.

Central location but nothing of great interest immediately around the hotel. However, museums were nearby

Air conditioning in room was not working.

- Don’t count on shuttle service being available to the Cleveland Clinic or anywhere for that matter. Hotel doesn’t have a backup, if driver calls in sick, you’re walking. - 1 elevator wasn’t working when we arrived. - Air conditioning has been out for days. Fans provided, to blow hot air around. - Problems in the kitchen, out of multiple items on the menu when it’s open, closed other evenings. Food not always available. - Beer is ice cold and refreshing, which is nice after you walk back from the clinic. - Employees were all courteous and helpful.

Typical DoubleTree. Every thing was on par for what I expect from DoubleTree. I enjoyed my stay.

Decent place, renovated room but still an old building. AC was out, weather luckily was cool.
