Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn - Stay At the Beach

Upon check-in at 5:30 p.m. nobody was there I called the number on the door and was told to call someone else they took my credit card over the phone for a resort fee which this is no resort. When I open the lock box there's multiple keys so I was told which key to take I only had one key. Going up the stairs covered in dirt dust and other things I was already grossed out. The room seemed semi-clean except for the dirty towel hanging up. People in the hallway playing loud music and talking about drugs made me very uncomfortable and very unsafe. I would have checked out but I can't drive at night. I didn't know who to call because I didn't want to go downstairs and check the numbers taped to the office door. I wish I had stayed somewhere else. This place used to be nice and I understand renovations are going on starting at 9:00 a.m. which I was also not aware about. After traveling 12 hours I would of liked to try to sleep some more. At checkout I tried to go in the office because I saw a coffee station The door was locked and the exterior door was not opening so I don't have a receipt for my resort fee I didn't get the " complimentary " breakfast. Waste of money waste of time probably would have slept in my car and had a better night. In the morning I started notice more trash in my room and mold in the bathroom and on lampshades.

This place is the only hotel on the main road for a reason. No one gies to the beach to stay on the main road. This is an old, rundown hotel that is obviously struggling to stay open. If you don't mind staying in a rundown Motel 6, then this is the place for you. Its great for that weekend fishing trip with your buddies, but not so great for a family vacation. Yes, its cheap. Yes, you will get what you paid for, not much.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time this weekend, just for one night. We booked a king room, first floor room, however, when I was checking in, we were given a third floor room. This hotel does not have elevators, so you have to go up 4 sets of stairs to the third floor. The room was clean and the bed was mostly comfortable. They do offer a limited breakfast (coffee, waffles, cereal) from 7am to 9am. This hotel is located on the bypass, close to Starbucks, CVS, 17th Street, JK's Steakhouse amongst other dining and shopping options. There are coin operated washers and dryers, vending machines and an ice machine available. Overall, a decent place to stay.

Easy check in, clean room, close by activities (beach, bars, restaurants). Will stay again!

It says free continental breakfast but they do not do breakfast.

They are planning a remodel and the place needs it. It was clean. Other guest were noisy though. Not bad for the price. I can’t complain

Neighbor was loud. Other than that it was good.

After hours check in was with a phone call and was quick and easy. Room is very nice with wide assortment of items for h&b needs. Bang for the buck. Definitely qould stay here again.

Awesome overnight stay during the off season! Excellent prices and overall the room was clean! Great job!

the staff was very polite and helpful. there was a mix-up with our reservation that was made through a third party, but the staff accommodated us with apologetic sincerity. I would definitely return there for another stay in the future.
