Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn - Stay At the Beach

Only stayed one night. Bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable. Got up next morning and no hot water. Waited around for several hours, never got fixed.

Nice people, super clean pool

Staff was extremely polite, professional and friendly. Accomodations were perfect for our large party.

This is an older mid-island (nit ocean front) inn with a pool. It has been well maintained and updated. It is not luxury, but for a nice place to stay in a convenient location at Nags Head it is nice, clean, comfortable and a good value. The owners/managers are nice people that care about you and your stay. We were in a comfortable 2 bed room. The beds TV refrigerator and microwave were all working and in good shape. Lots of families there and it was calm and quiet. The only thing to be aware of is that is is 3 stories with steps but no elevator. We were on 3rd and it was fine for us. We had a great stay!

The owners of the property were incredibly accommodating. They did everything to make sure that my stay was a great one. They are the best.

The property was older. Beds need to be upgraded. There was no hot water the last two days of our stay. The pool area was nice.

It started out good. Staff was nice. The second day we saw a roach crawl on my chair and there was no hot water on Sunday morning when we were leaving. The staff apologized when I called Sunday morning about the cold water. I told them about the roach . The staff apologized and said they spray for bugs every 10 days and didn’t offer any money back. We will not be back.

This is a nice hotel a short walk from the beach. Staff is friendly and the property is clean. Small pool in the front looks well maintained. Only issue I had is that there was no hot water for the entire duration of my stay. That gets old after the first cold shower. No compensation was offered other than “we called a plumber”

I was very upset that it was not mentioned on line that there were no elevators in this facility as i have copd and was given a room on the 3rd floor . When mentioned it to staff they couldnt do anything but move me down 1 floor to a much smaller room which i couldnt do . Also i came qoth a family and thw room description said a mini kitchen. The picturws showed a very different room. The mini kitchen was a mini microwave and miji fridge. Also it said free coffee in lobby from 7am to 11 am yet i went down at 930 am and still jo coffee and they say ita almost ready . They were not at all what thwy claimed to be online. I was very disappointwd

Definitely to be expected. The room had a real strong mold smell.
