Presidential Hotel

Hotel security was good for Port Harcourt. The hotel has been around since it was built in the 70s and it really hasn’t had much of an upgrade since then so it’s outdated. No hairdryer or iron provided but they do put kettle in the rooms: The Chinese restaurant offers large portions of well cooked food, the platinum club is very good if you wish to party late night in a safe and secure place, however the club does not sell spirits by the glass, only spirits largr bottles at around 32k each

Presidential Hotel is one of the old luxury hotels built in the 70s and earlier in the same class with Premier Hotel Ibadan, Metropolitan Calabar etc. Hotel is well maintained, renovation was going on during my stay and you could here the banging noise of workers during the day time. The hotel has one of the safest clubs in Port-Harcourt "Platinum Club". Easy access and very convenient location to most of the major night spots in town.

Good, safe and clean environment. Staff always friendly and eager to assist when needed. Pool and gym clean and in good condition. A little bit rundown, but holding and competitive. A good place to stay compared to competing hotels.

Just ok we only stayed one night so didn't get to really observe

Low water pressure. No info on facilities given at check in. Hotel needs updating.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Port Harcourt. The food on the premises was delicious and the service was exceptional. It's the oldest hotel and therefore I think some renovations are needed in a few areas. The surrounding area restaurants and movie theater was just as delightful. Family friendly environment with a very large pool, gym, tennis court, table tennis, VIP club etc. Security is one of the best that I have seen in the area hotels. Front desk staff, etc were very courtesy.

50 years old hotel. When I arrived it was fully booked though Hotels.com gave me confirmation of reservation? Hotel GM arranged me a room, big thanks for him. Friendly staff, good service. Definitely will go again.

Service is good but very expensive compared to the local economy, and staff very friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily, but it will make the work easier for the workers, if cleaners are given modern equipment to do their work.

It was just good. I have used the hotel since 1970s, so the structure is superb, but the running is not matching
