Martin & Mason Hotel

Perfect location

Fantastic location right downtown. The hotel is as rich in history as it gets! We absolutely loved it, and will return!!!

The bed was very comfortable I would purchase the sheets and blankets

Friendly owner/manager, quirky, great location. Gives you the Deadwood vibe (historical, gambling etc).

Breakfast was OK

The shower is an old fashioned tub with a shower head on a hose. It made showering difficult. I understand that his was done to keep it more authentic, but it would be good to put a curtain around it so you can stand up to shower.

Just a block from the historic Main St. the location is great: a minute's walk, but away from the noise. The building is old -- very old -- and with the age comes weirdness such as tight shower and bathroom. Our room (room 1) was spacious. Our bed was very comfortable, though the linens were a bit tired and low quality. The entrance is oddly though a bar, a mini casino, a diner, or a store. Take your pick! Then you'll have to look around for the front desk. Best of all, the whole place has a haunted feel to it! :)
