Really lovely property with spacious and well-appointed suites. Great breakfast included with rate with wide and excellent offerings.

A couple of their front desk folks could be better trained. One never looked up as we came and went.

"Both a family and couple friendly hotel with great location."

Loved the location (within biking distance of downtown, the shore)! Lots of healthy choices for breakfast as well as outside eating pavilion with heater. Locked parking was a plus. The building looked like a boutique hotel.

Having to use our cards for entry everywhere including pavilion doors and elevator was kind of annoying.

Enjoyed the breakfast basic but lots of choices even with the bagels, my boyfriend said behind the soaps could be cleaned and behind the tv, (he checks everything lol ) other that that it was clean comfy it was like 13 mins away from the board walk and pool was actually really warm!

There was one lady who was quite rude. We tried to check in about if we could do a early check in around sunrise since we drove thru the night and the lady was pretty snappy and mean as she said there’s no early check in and even had a look on her face. That’s understandable no need to be rude although my boyfriend insisted we go back around noon ish and the man was super friendly and even said they definitely had room and that if was no problem. So take that how you will! After that we had a nice stay and didn’t see her again.

We will stay here again. 15 min walk to the beach, 15-18 min walk to Capitola Village. Rooms are spacious and clean, complimentary breakfast offers good combination of cold/hot food. Waffles were the best! Property is well kept and staff was helpful. Hotel offers parking so you do not have to deal with the limited parking at the beach or in the village. Shadowbrook restaurant offers complimentary pick up from this location.
