Comfortable and helpful

Medan felt tatty- we were there to join a tour, would not go otherwise.

Everything. It is well located in Medan. The staff are exceptional and couldnt do more for you. The room (for which I was kindly upgraded) was spacious and comfortable, with great facilities - safe, fridge, hairdryer, aircon. Breakfast was accommodating to most / all diets - I was concerned as a vegetarian but I left having had plenty.

Everything you need for a town-centre hotel. The rooms are small (but the bathrooms are very big!) but come with a kettle which is useful. The central atrium gives an airy feel, but it does mean that if people are chatting noisily in the lobby, the noise travels up to all the sleeping floors, so can be intrusive if you're wanting an early night. It's within walking distance of the Mosque (where the staff are very accommodating to visitors) and a big shopping centre. On the road behind the hotel there are little restaurants and popular street-food stalls.

Delicious breakfast and lovely staff. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and pretty comfy beds too.

The gym needs some maintenance, everything other than the treadmill are very clunky to operate. The floor tiles in the room get dusty fast. They provide slippers, but if you enjoy being barefeet get an extra towel to remove the dust :)
