Lizard Creek Lodge

Great location,(just beside the lift), large,clean and quiet room, super nice staffs. Really enjoyed the mountain view. Jacuzzi inside the bathroom. Nice kitchen with everything you need to cook.

Not enough kitchen supplies there was a teapot but no kettle Went to the restaurant for breakfast and ordered avocado toast and they used avocado spread. Not everything was open

The room was never cleaned. This would normally be expected when booking a hotel room. When we mentioned that it had been overlooked the lady at the desk said they don’t do it and it was mentioned in the arrival note. We requested some supplies to replenish and basically got an eye roll from the young lady.

The lodge describes itself as "mountain chic." A better description would be "mountain tired." To refer to this property as luxury would be equivalent to describing McDonalds as gourmet. The only positive aspect of this property is its proximity to the slopes. The room quality is no better than a roadside motel, outdated, worn, and battered. The closet had all of three hangers and bathrobes were nowhere to be found. Don't be fooled by the high price for accomodations thinking you are reserving a quality property. It is in dire need of a complete update and renovation. The restaurant for dinner was acceptable but their a la carte menu for breakfast is extremely limited and there is no breakfast buffet. Some staff members are helpful and friendly while others are anything but. For a property that has a reputation as being the best at the resort, for me it was a major disappointment.

The location was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the most delicious meal in the restaurant. I have coeliac disease and was catered for wonderfully.

The top of the fridge freezer was dirty and underneath the armchair

Room was freezing and thermostat control did not work. Had to unplug unit.
