Lizard Creek Lodge

Excellent access to lifts right outside the door.

We returned for our first visit since COVID interrupted all our travel plans for a few yesrs. As per our other visits we had a wonderful, spacious one bedroom condo overlooking the mountain. Bed was super comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and it was lovely and quiet too. Sitting in the jacuzzi watching the sun set over the mountains was peaceful. Shout out to the welcoming staff - Daisy at reception and Katie who made sure we had chocolates welcoming us back. Already looking forward to coming back next year!

Fantastic kitchen, lounge dining space, large bedrooms, undercover parking. Spa facilities were very good.

The main bedroom ensuite has a spa bath but. O shower which was very odd. The self catering kitchen implements were limited. The ski lockers were very small and not big enough for our skis and stocks. Much of the lodge is aging and looks tired.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lizard Creek Lodge in Fernie! Our room felt just like a cozy little condo, with a full kitchen and everything we needed to cook our own meals — perfect when you’re away from home. The location is fantastic; it’s genuinely ski‑in, ski‑out, right by the slopes, which made our days on the mountain super easy and fun. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxed, comfortable mountain getaway, and we’d happily stay here again!

a wonderful lodge, excellent central facilities, nice central lounge area, and restaurant with good food and varying options, great apres environment, the apartment hotel has great sized rooms and a accessible hot tub in each of the three blocks and good undercover parking, staff are friendly and knowledgeable,

the ski lockers are weird and very seventies with narrow lockers and old fashioned hard to use locks, it is also very weird to have no housekeeping service on a spurious environmental basis, surely every third day would still be a good enough contribution without the inconvenience ? Fernie is an interesting resort lots of choice but poor run signage and with the second worst lift facilities in north america [red mountain slightly worse], the town is small but a few good restaurants, not much on the mountain apart from lizard lodge
