Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge

A localização do hotel é muito boa. Perto de Manaus 70 km. O entorno é exuberante em natureza. Gostamos muito da equipe de guias, especialmente do Moisés. Mosquitos ZERO. Na região do rio Negro não tem mosquitos. Os passeios que fizemos foram ótimos. Nadar com os botos cor de rosa foi o ápice da viagem. Conhecer uma tribo , estar pertinho dos macacos, fazer uma trilha pela floresta aprendendo sobre os animais e flora é imperdível. Enfim, a viagem foi muito interessante e rica. Vale muito a pena a experiência.

Achei o quarto que ficamos espaçoso, mas poderia ter um cuidado maior com a decoração. O banheiro pequeno com chuveiro elétrico pedindo uma troca. O restaurante, muito bonito, a comida saborosa e da região, porém poderia ter mais sobremesas, sucos diferentes.

La habitación y el baño son un poco cutres. Las actividades que ofrecen duran poquísimo y son bastante regulares.

Easy way to have a taste of the Amazon forest.

This place is fantastic. Tucked away amongst the trees in a beautiful jungle setting yet no mosquitoes. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and good. Even having a buffet 3 times a day for 5 days they managed to rotate enough different entrees to keep it interesting and delicious. The tours were awesome and our guide, Angelo, was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of just about anything in the amazon was remarkable. His ability to explain history of the area and entertain simultaneously was excellent. His English was also top notch which helped some of the friends with us who had no Portuguese knowledge. He answered ALL of our curiosities. He was worth so much more than we could have imagined. The jungle hike was on the massive hotel property and was so cool, but every other tour was off site. We were able to catch piranha and see Cayman on the fishing excursion. We saw the meeting of the Two rivers which was a fantastic sight. We swam with the rare Pink Dolphins. Went to a monkey sanctuary with some rare species. We went to a Caboclo and learned about the way of life of the people on the river whilst sampling some moonshine and other homemade treats. Went to a Rubber tree plantation exhibit. We had an indigenous experience that was authentic and beautiful. The casitas at the hotel were very simple yet comfortable. AC worked great but shower pressure was minimal. This is not a place if you are looking for a 5 star SPA type resort but it certainly met all of our needs. The Natural pools on the property were great to cool off and hang out on the lounge chairs. The beauty of nature in this area is simply indescribable and the hotel managed to build a beautiful resort without disrupting the beauty of the natural jungle. We stayed 5 days but 4 would have been enough to do everything. Book it and ask for Angelo to be your tour guide and you will not regret it.

Location was good. Moses the guide was excellent. Some of the excursions were good - in particular the Caiman trip and forest trip

The payment of balance on arrival was processed in euro and exchange rate was uncompetitive. Some of the excursions were a bit disappointing. No activities on site. Very quiet in the evening. Food was good but repetitive.

Location is perfect: jungle, quiet, no mosquitos, very beautiful natural pool with red/brown water, birds, agouties, marmosette monkeys, beautiful private river beach. The stay and program is carefully and thoughtfully organized. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good food, including breakfast, good coffee. The bungalow is rather modest, but good, with comfortable bed.

The stay is really expensive, three times more expensive than similar stay in Puerto Maldonado (Peru). Windows better to be closed because of insects and night noises. But this is unique place and experience.

Service was great. We were greeted at the airport & driven to the Marina where a boat was waiting to take us to the lodge. Although we arrived late, they had left us water, juice & a snack. We left early & they got up to make us breakfast. Guide was great. Food overall was good. BBQ chicken was the best I've had in awhile. Capirinhas were good too. Room was clean & quiet. A/C worked well.

Beds were hard. Pillows flat.

Great lodge and great value with tours, very nice clean room with AC which is so needed! Decent food and custom egg dishes for breakfast. Each day you get to pick what you want for your meals. Little secret you can pick more than one side. Wish I had known that earlier! The guide was great. You get to meet some nice people on the tours and since you're all staying at the same place you get to know each other pretty well enjoying each other for meals. That was another highlight.

My only wish was that we could've done a night jungle walk, and if they had a regular pool other than the natural pool. It was nicely done just the color of the water is a bit of a turn off. I swam in the (Amazon) though.
